About Dr Sood

Dr Meera Sood is a Specialist Obstetrician/Gynaecologist.

She is an experienced clinician who has been working at Boulcott and Hutt Public Hospital for the last 18 years.

She is expanding her practice further to Bowen Hospital.

Meera has an excellent rapport with her patients and is always commended on having an extremely friendly yet professional approach. She is perceived to be very relatable. She keeps up to-date with the latest literature and will offer you a complete care which is individualised to your needs.

Meera has been formally credentialed to do advanced prolapse and some incontinence surgery (as required by MOH) and is upskilling in other incontinence procedures to offer all options to her patients.

Meera’s special interests are in key hole (advanced laparoscopic) surgery, prolapse and incontinence procedures.
