About Dr Rebecca Crabbe

Rebecca is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist who is passionate about patient-centred care. She provides an environment where the patient’s health concerns are addressed, taking the time to ensure they have all the information to choose the right treatment for them.

Rebecca is a generalist with a particular interest in minimally-invasive surgery (laparoscopic/keyhole and hysteroscopic procedures).  She provides care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions including menstrual issues, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, postmenopausal bleeding, pelvic floor prolapse and menopausal symptoms. She is a qualified colposcopist.  

Rebecca completed her training across New Zealand and has now returned to her home town of Wellington, where she lives with her young family. She works as a consultant in both the private and public sectors, as well as being a senior lecturer with the University of Otago. She is a supervisor for doctors training to become obstetricians and gynaecologists through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
