About Aaron Withers

Mr Aaron Withers is a Wellingtonian and is pleased to have returned to the area as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Aaron is a graduate of the University of Otago Medical School. He successfully completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at Hutt Hospital and Middlemore Hospital, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He has also completed subspecialty post-fellowship training. This comprised of an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at the New Zealand Institute of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in Auckland, a Microsurgery and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, and the Australian Hand Surgery Society/Royal Australasian College of Surgery Post Fellowship Education and Training Programme in Hand Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Royal Alfred Hospital Melbourne. This has afforded him extensive training in Hand Surgery and Brachial Plexus Surgery.
