We have a 12 bed day stay unit situated at the rear of the hospital.

In some circumstances following surgery, it may be necessary to transfer a day surgery patient to the ward for ongoing monitoring. If this is the case, an accommodation fee will be charged.
Our Gastroenterology Unit comprises of a waiting area, a consulting room, a single procedure room and 3 bed recovery area. The unit is fully staffed by our experienced gastroenterology staff and the practitioners are all highly skilled and experienced endoscopists. Our technical equipment is updated and well maintained.
The unit is also the location of a weekly Pain Clinic managed by an experienced anaesthetist with specialist skills.
