You will hear a presentation from Delia Wang who will be talking about LEAD study (laser treatment for dry ARMD) and from Dr James Leong (Ophthalmologist) about “All that glitters is not gold; and All that looks ‘cystic’ on OCT is not macular oedema”.

  • To be able to diagnose and differentiate between a range of common and uncommon macular and retinal diseases that present with ’cysts’ on macular OCT
  • To be aware of referral criteria and treatment options for patients with these diseases; with particular focus on alternatives to intravitreal injections
